January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month and the Vermont Department of Health’s Ladies First program, The Hicks Foundation and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England are partnering to offer a Free Pap Day for all women who are uninsured or underinsured.

The Planned Parenthood/Burlington Health Center (183 St. Paul Street) will host women's wellness exams, Pap tests, heart health screening, and HPV tests and vaccine from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Free Pap Day will also be offered at Planned Parenthood/Northern New England in Newport (Newport Health Center, 79 Coventry Street, and Rutland (Rutland Health Center, 6 Roberts North from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Childcare and food will be provided at no charge, with transportation arranged.
