Vermont’s 2012 lottery drawing for moose hunting permits will be held in Montpelier by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department.
There will be a lottery drawing for 385 permits (includes 5 for applicants who have received, or are eligible to receive, a Campaign Ribbon for Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan), and a drawing for 50 archery season permits.
The names of the permit winners will be posted on the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department website (www.vtfishandwildlife.com).
