Early Bird Registration Ends March 1
Registration is now open for the 2018 Vermont Worksite Wellness Conference, to be held March 21 at the Doubletree by Hilton (previously the Sheraton) in Burlington. The annual conference is sponsored by the Vermont Department of Health and the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and provides an opportunity for Vermont business owners, human resources professionals and wellness experts to learn and share strategies and best practices for worksite wellness, to hear from state and national experts, and expand their professional networks.
The conference features exhibits and a dozen workshops. The conference is also the showcase for the presentation of Worksite Wellness awards to more than 80 Vermont employers in recognition of their employee wellness programs. Governor Phil Scott is anticipated to attend and present the awards. Additional speakers include Health Commissioner Mark A. Levine, MD, and a keynote address from leading Worksite Wellness Organization WELCOA.
The Health Department is partnering with Go! Vermont (https://www.connectingcommuters.org/) to provide greener commuting options to the conference. Any worksite sending six or more employees to the conference is eligible to rent a van at their local Enterprise car rental for only $25.00. See the conference website for more information
Early bird registration ends March 1. The deadline to register for the conference is March 10.
